The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) was established after independence by a parliamentary decree in 1958. The company has self-regulating networks across the country.

Selection criteria

01- Educational Requirements:

B.E

MSc

BSc

DAE or

other equivalent relevant diploma from an institute, recognised by HEC & PEC.

02- Test:

The test will be conducted by Pakistan Testing Services (PTS).

03- Interview

After the test is conducted by PTA, short listed candidates will be interviewed by the WAPDA board.

Apart from open merit, special quotas

Special quotas are also reserved, including

WAPDA employee child quota (ECQ)
Disabling quota (it is important to note that disabled people are given 10 years of age relaxation as well).
Regional quotas (for example, the Sindh quota, the KPK quota, the Balochistan quota, the FATA quota, and the Punjab quota)
women's quota.

Registration costs Rs. 170/-.

PTA will then inform the registered candidates about their roll number slip, date sheet, timing, test centre via text message.

The last date to apply is July 16, 2022.
